Speaker Becky Diamond, a food writer, librarian, and historian, will present a program about the
Gilded Ages and her fourth book, ‘The Gilded Ages Christmas Cookbook: Cookies and Treats
from America’s Golden Era’, which bridges the past and present. Focusing on food, dining, and
excessive opulence, she brings back sugar plums and other confections not typically found in
modern cookbooks, while providing a colorful glimpse into the era.
Books will be available for purchase.

There will be time for questions and book signing before a catered lunch.
