TMC General Meeting & Post Meeting Lunch
January 9, 2020 @ 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
The word “POWER” can be evocative. Why? It depends on the filter through which we have witnessed or experienced power in our own lives. Dr. Wayne Dyer was quoted as saying “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”
We will look at Women and POWER” when Anita Pacheco, President and Founder of Anita’s Attitude Adjustments, LLC shines the spotlight on this broad topic during the Thursday Morning Club’s general meeting on January 9, 2020 at 10:00 AM.
The derivation of the word POWER will be examined, powerful women like Cleopatra and Mother Theresa will be contrasted and cultural influences will be discussed. We will claim and experience our personal power through movement, alignment and sound and be reminded of how it feels to be empowered.
Anita Pacheco was a student of ethology (the study of human behavior) during the years preceding receipt of her BA in Life Sciences from Rowan University. She later received her MBA in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Years of observation of family, the work force and media, coupled with the influence of eastern bodywork brought Anita to this time and this place to discuss this most important topic, women and POWER.
Lunch to be served immediately following the program prepared by our Catering Dept. The program is free to the public, but you must RSVP no later than 1/3/20 if you wish to join us for lunch at a cost of $20; payable at the door.
