An Author’s Lunch

$35.00Join us on March 10, 2018 for our first An Author’s Lunch being held at the Madison CommunityHouse from 12:00 – 2:00. Our first author / speaker will be Laura Schenone. She is the author of three acclaimed books: “A Thousand Years Over a Hot Stove”, “The Lost Ravioli Recipes of Hoboken” and her third book “The Dogs of Avalon: The Race to Save Animals in Peril”
Laura Schenone was born and raised in New Jersey. She free-lanced for National and regional magazines and newspapers before writing three non-fiction books. Laura Schenone believes, “Real life is so unbelievable”. Her first book written in 2003 was inspired by the time she spent living in a pre-Civil War farmhouse. In the second book she wrote about her quest to retrieve a long lost family recipe. The third book which was published in 2017 was an account of the greyhound dogs, their owners and their champions.
